John started his career as an Insurance Agent in November 1970. He joined Prudential Insurance Company as a general agent with only 2 years of sales experience. After seven years with Prudential, he received an opportunity to develop a life and health division for a multi-million dollar casualty agency with six locations in Northwest Missouri. In 1985, John purchased the Life and Health division and later moved the office to Stewartsville changing the agency name to John Joe Insurance Agency. It has operated as a sole proprietor for the last twenty years. The agency currently employees two licensed agents, one serving as office manager with 20 years experience in the insurance and financial fields and the other has 12 years sales and marketing experience. Currently licensed with the state of Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska, the agency is sure to meet all the needs of our clients with locations in various surrounding states.
